Graveside services for Barbara Marie Prantl, 94, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Woodlawn Cemetery, near Brandsville, Missouri.

Mrs. Prantl died at 10:26 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born April 22, 1919, at Washington, D.C., to Melvin E. and Martha Hurst McHalffey.  She graduated from Thayer High School with the Class of 1936 and on June 27, 1937, was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Albert W. "Sport" Prantl, who preceded her in death on September 29, 2002.  Mrs. Prantl was a member of the Church of Christ and had attended Brandsville Church of Christ for over seventy years.

She is survived by three children, Judy Jewell, husband, Clifford, Nixa, Missouri, Sue Collier, and Joe Bill Prantl, both of Brandsville, Missouri; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Her parents, husband, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, two brothers and four sisters, precede her in death.
