My love and thoughts are with the family. I’m so sorry for your loss. God’s promise of the resurrection in John 5:28, 29 is one that soothes me. Knowing she is securely in Gods loving memory, the safest place anyone could ever be. And one day soon, thanks to the sacrifice Jesus made we won’t ever have to experience the heartbreak of death again. My absolute favorite scripture is in 1 Corinthians 15:24 “and the last enemy death, is to be brought to nothing” I love to meditate on that scripture…what a blessing to see my Auntie as well as my mother and their other sister as well.
Love to all the family.
Kathy Richards, Pat’s daughter and Aunt Hazel’s niece.

I just now saw this reply Laura. I hope you will too. Wouldn’t your mother be so happy when she was resurrected? What a beautiful future to look forward to.

Miss Hazel was our mail carrier when we lived in Pottersville. She was always smiling, kind and friendly. My daughters and I have fond memories of visiting with her. When you live in the country as a stay-at-home mom with small children, you look forward to chatting with an adult. Some days Miss Hazel was the only other adult in my life, I really enjoyed her.

Thank you, Angela. I, too, was able to work with my Mom, Hazel, on the mail route, years ago, and also, my daughter, Mariah. <3 She absolutely loved doing the route, thanks to customers like you. Thank you so much for your kind words. Me and all of my siblings and our children owe her our existence, but also our love of family and life was taught well, by her love for us <3
