Nancy White
Visitation services for Nancy White, 70, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. White passed away at 2:28 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2018 surrounded by her family at her home.
She was born on September 15, 1947 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Emil and Helen Johnson.
Nancy graduated from Fenton High School and attended Northern Illinois University where she also worked as a secretary. On August 26, 1967 she married David White. Together they had two sons, David Kevin and Jonathan Michael. Nancy had several jobs, but her favorite was administrative work at Missouri State University – West Plains. She loved nature and gardening and spent many hours outside tending to her flowers and plants. She was the author of several nature books dedicated to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her twin sister Marilyn (Dennis); her husband David; her sons David Kevin (Heather) and Jonathan Michael (Amy); and grandchildren Marissa, Rebecca, Charles, Eliana, Lauren, Andrew, and Avery.
Nancy will always be remembered as a loving and kind person who did good things for others throughout her life.
Burial will be in the Cobblestone Cemetery, Walworth Township, Wisconsin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nancy White Memorial Scholarship Fund at Missouri State University-West Plains and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
