Karen Sue Coursey
A memorial service for Karen Sue Coursey, 58, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Pomona, Missouri.
Mrs. Coursey passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born June 1, 1960, at Harrisonville, Missouri, to James Edward Simpson and Dorothy Mae Smallwood Simpson. On February 9, 1980, she was married at West Plains, to Gary Lee Coursey, who preceded her in death October 7, 2011. Mrs. Coursey had worked at Regal and Junction Hill Snappy Mart. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Coursey was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Pomona, Missouri.
She is survived by two children, Jeffery Coursey and Justin Coursey and wife, Jennifer; four grandchildren, Dagen, Lathen, Wyatt and Harmony; her mother, Dorothy Simpson; three brothers, Jimmy Simpson and special friend, Debbie, Dennis Simpson and wife, Gina and Joe Simpson; two sisters, Brenda Brotherton and husband, Doug and Cathy Klein and husband, Greg; her mother-in-law, Anny Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
Her father and husband preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
