Juanita Walker

Funeral services for Juanita “Neat” Walker, 87, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Gospel Hill Church of Christ, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Walker passed away at 9:35 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2020, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born December 23, 1932, at West Plains, Missouri, to Elza Hixon and Martha Ellen Martin Hixon.  On October 25, 1946, she was married at Caulfield, Missouri, to Orva W. Walker, who preceded her in death on December 19, 1985.  She enjoyed yardwork, picking up walnuts, gardening and going to auctions.  Mrs. Walker had been a member of Gospel Hill Church of Christ for many years.

She is survived by two children, Orva Lee “Johnny” Walker and wife, Melba and Betty Dunnihoo and husband, Randall; two foster daughters, Avis Walker and Claudia Bishop; four grandchildren, McKinzey Dunnihoo and fiancée Lane Cardin, Trudy Hull and husband, Gary, Lori Reed and husband, Jim and Lisa Robinson and husband, Eric; two foster grandchildren, Misty Weisbrod and Jeremy Skaggs; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Hobbs; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, one grandson, Travis Dunnihoo and wife, Vickey, three sisters and one brother, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Walker will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Gospel Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Hill Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
