Ernestine L. Wilson
Funeral services for Ernestine L. Wilson, 75, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Trinity Worship Center in West Plains under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She went to eternal glory surrounded by her loving family.
Ernestine Wilson was born March 16, 1937 in White Church, Missouri to Ralph O. Henry and Hollis Hendrix Henry. She received her early education at White Church, Missouri, graduating from the West Plains High School in 1954. She attended Cosmetology School in Springfield, Missouri and worked at the Arcade Beauty Shop in West Plains, Missouri. On February 26, 1960, she was married at Peace Valley, Missouri to Earl Dean Wilson, who survives her. Mrs. Wilson worked as a file clerk at the Missouri Southern Bank and was a homemaker. She enjoyed classic car activities as a member of the West Plains Car Club. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Trinity Worship Center in West Plains and the Auxiliary of Gideon’s International holding numerous offices at the West Plains camp.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Dean Wilson, of the family home; two sons, Jerry D. Wilson, wife, Darlene, West Plains, Missouri and Danny L. Wilson, wife, Stacey, West Plains, Missouri; grandchildren, Michael L. Wilson, wife, Rose, West Plains, Missouri, Brendon Wilson, Kansas City, Missouri, Keegan Wilson, West Plains, Missouri and Neal Wilson, State of Alabama; step-granddaughter, Chelsea Murrell, Koshkonong, Missouri; great-grandsons, Zack and Chase Wilson, West Plains, Missouri; one brother, Earl Henry, wife, Pam, Pomona, Missouri; one sister, Edna Kincheloe, West Plains, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Karen Henry, White Church, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Ralph and Hollis Henry, and one brother, Eldon Henry, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 29th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Although Mrs. Wilson was an avid flower lover, she had a desire to see people have a copy of God’s Holy word. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Gideon’s International and leave them at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Ernestine will be missed in many ways by all who knew her. She fought her battle of cancer with courage. You (the family) are in are thoughts and prayers. Remember the good and happy times you spent with her.

Ernestine will always be remembered as a loving and giving person. She truly was a child of God and showed others this by the life that she lived. Our prayer is that God will hold each of her loved ones in His arms and comfort you during this time of loss. She is now walking and talking with those we can still only read about in the book she shared with others — God’s Holy Word.

Ernestine will always be remembered by my family as a loving, warm, friendly, and gracious lady that was always the same every time you saw her. Our hearts and prayers are with Eatl and her family we love and hold dear to,our hearts. Certainly she is forever well in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ernestine was always kind, loving, warm, and friendly everything she greeted my family. Our hearts and prayers are with our Bro. Earl and the loving Wilson family. Certainly she is alive and well in the presence of the Lord.

Ernestine was a warm, caring loving lady. As far back as I can remember, she always had a smile & a kind word. She will be missed. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of her family. Heaven has a bright shining star tonight as all of family & friends that have gone before welcome her home.

Earnestine was a wonderful person in the church to look up to. She was a god loving person an d came to church every Sunday even though she was battling Cancer. Ive Never herd one discouraging word come out of her mouth. She will be missed.My prayers are with the Wilson Family.
