Birdiemae Pierce

Funeral services for Birdiemae Pierce, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Pierce died at 6:23 a.m., Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Brooke Haven Health Care. 

She was born September 11, 1923, at St. Louis, Missouri, to William Harvey Burch and Leona Magdalene Morrison Burch.  On July 1, 1949, she was married at Overland, Missouri, to Walter James Pierce.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed roller skating and dancing.  Mrs. Pierce was of the Protestant faith and attended the Overland Presbyterian Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Walter Pierce, of the family home; nieces and nephews, Sharon Eaves, husband, Richard, Cedar Hill, Missouri, Ron Burch, wife, Joyce, DeLand, Florida, Bill Birch, wife, Sally, St. Charles, Missouri and Linda Wilkens, Austin, Texas; and one sister-in-law, Alice Burch, Deland, Florida. 

Her parents and two brothers, Harvey and Theodore Burch, precede her in death.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012 until service time at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
