So sad to read of Veta passing. I was blessed to meet Veta when I had the shop. She was always a ray of sunshine to us girls working. The love of sending flowers to Heather just radiated, and she was so proud of her being her daughter. We had many visits across the counter and I loved every second of them. May God hold her family close and ease the pain of your loss. Fly high Ms. Veda. God has gained a new angel.

I grew up up the hill from Veta and her family. I was just thinking about her just a few days ago. I was remembering how much fun we used to have playing ball in the road that ran in front of her house. The last time I was home jet brother Denny and I accidentally met at the cafe in Bakersfield and we talked about all of us playing ball together. I remember Veta’s wonderful laugh as we grew up together. She was a wonderful person!
