Constance (Yerk) Farel
Constance (Yerk) Farel passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, at the age of seventy-seven years
The daughter of Viola and Clarence Yerk, Constance grew up in the Baptist and Methodist faiths. She married Gene Farel in Belvidere, Illinois. Mrs. Farel loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Gene Farel, of the family home; one son, Marc Farel, Belvidere, Illinois; one son-in-law, Tom Shattuck, Poplar Grove, Illinois; three granddaughters, Emily Kusters (Brett) and Hannah Farrell, Racine, Wisconsin, and Jenna Shattuck, Poplar Grove, Illinois; one grandson, Evan Shattuck, Poplar Grove, Illinois; one great-grandson, Wallace Kusters, Racine, Wisconsin; three sisters, Shirley of Belvidere, Wisconsin, Doris of Sharon, Wisconsin, and Margaret of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Michelle (Missy) Shattuck, her mother, Viola, her dad, Clarence (who was killed during World War II), brother, Joseph, and sisters, Judy and Lois.
At Connie’s request, there will be no service at this time. Thanks to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home for their many years of service for the Farel family.

My sympathy to the family. Sending hugs and prayers ?. I enjoyed many good times in the Yerk house when we were in high school. Also , Connie and I worked together at Dean Foods in Belvidere.
