Graveside services for Blaine Edward Singleton, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2022 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Singleton passed away at 10:55 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Brooke Haven Healthcare.
He was born October 22, 1935, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Grover Singleton and Blanche Fox Singleton. Mr. Singleton worked at the International Shoe Factory, retiring after forty-two years. He was also a farmer and enjoyed quail hunting. Mr. Singleton was a member of Curry Street Church of Christ and formerly West 160 Church of Christ where he had been a Deacon, an Elder and Treasurer.
He is survived by one son, Jason Singleton and wife, Regina; three grandchildren, Paige, Brooklynn and Jaxon; one niece, Tammy Woodworth and husband, Jim; and two great-nephews, Garth Woodworth and Derek Woodworth and wife, Caitlin and their daughters, Charlotte and Sophia.
His parents, one infant sister, Wanda and one sister, Wilma Greer and husband, Vernon, preceded him in death.
Mr. Singleton will lie in state from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children’s Home and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.
