Funeral services for Ruth Elizabeth Stewart, 106, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stewart passed away at 12:55 a.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at West Vue Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born March 20, 1916 at Everett, Washington, to Arch and Florence West Pentecost. On June 13, 1936, she was married at Selmore, Missouri, to Clyde Stewart, Sr., who preceded her in death May 21, 2005. Mrs. Stewart loved to travel. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two children, Clyde Stewart, Jr. and wife, Jane, West Plains, Missouri, and Bonnie Hille and husband, Rod, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Stewart, West Plains, Missouri; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two nieces, Anita and Neva; and several other nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one son, David Stewart, and one grandson, Chuck Stewart, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stewart will lie in state from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Blue Mound Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Mound Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.

Ruth was such a blessing to know, she was one of a kind, a gentle God fearing women with so much kindness and wisdom, I know she is celebrating in heaven
