Graveside services for Jerry Duane Riley, 85, Caulfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2022 at Gospel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Riley passed away at 11:56 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2022, at Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was born December 21, 1936, at Caulfield, Missouri, to Saint Elmo Riley and Fern Patillo Riley. On October 26, 1956, he was married at Hernando, Mississippi, to Marjorie Williams. Mr. Riley was a farmer. He loved spending time with family, bluegrass music, horses, farming, swinging under the shade tree and riding his side by side. Mr. Riley was a member of Gospel Hill Church of Christ for 65 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Riley, of the family home; two children, Scott Riley and wife, Betty, Caulfield, Missouri and Michelle Moody and husband, Garrick, Mountain View, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Will Riley and wife, Tara, Caulfield, Missouri, Angee Riley and husband, Darin, Caulfield, Missouri, Riley Sadler and wife, Audrey, Mountain Home, Arkansas and Torey Hanna and husband, Justin, Mountain View, Arkansas; nine great-grandchildren, Paige Smith and husband, Paxton, Chase Riley, Hagen Riley, Kade Riley, Kuter Riley, Leo Sadler, Layla Sadler, Riley Ann Hanna and Ollie Kate Hanna; one great-great-granddaughter, Blaire Rylee Smith; one brother, Tommy Riley and wife, Lucy, Willard, Missouri; one sister, Kathy Prince and husband, Harold, Kingdom City, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Jerry Shipley, Springfield, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents and one sister, Donna preceded him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.

Dan and I are so sorry about my cousin Jerry’s passing. We haven’t seen each other in recent years but I have good memories of growing up together, grade school at Oak Grove, and family gatherings when we were young. He was a very good man.

Sorry to learn of Jerry. I remember him as a dependable friend and trusted classmate at Bakersfield School. He set an excellent example for all of us. Along with my brother, Earl, and sister Roselie, the very best to the Riley family.
