Graveside services for Mary Frances Dancer, 80, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2023, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dancer passed away at 7:00 a.m., Sunday, March 12, 2023, at her home.
She was born July 19, 1942, at Weed, New Mexico, to Hervil Adam Guilliams and Edith Watkins Guilliams. On January 5, 1963, she was married at Wichita, Kansas, to Louis Lee Dancer, who preceded her in death on September 12, 2003. Mrs. Dancer owned, operated and worked in many restaurants, but was always a full time mom and grandma. She loved her family dearly, her children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was a wonderful cook; she enjoyed cooking and baking. She always looked forward to family gatherings and her shopping days with Angela. Mrs. Dancer was a member of The Intercontinental Church of God.
She is survived by two children, Louis Adam (Bud) Dancer and wife, Tammy, West Plains, Missouri and Angela Jackson and husband, Jeff, West Plains; one daughter-in-law, Vicky Donahue, Clinton, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, Austin and Dylan Jackson, West Plains, Michael Dancer and wife, Melissa, Gulf Shores, Alabama, Katrina Bacus and husband, Brandon, Highlandville, Missouri, Megan Smith, West Plains, Monica Arter and husband, Ron, West Plains, Jacob Evans and wife, Dani, Pomona, Missouri, Nathan Evans, Kelisha Evans, Corey Stephens, Tarra Hackworth and Dylan Johnson, all of West Plains; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Guilliams and wife, Alice and Jim Guilliams and wife, Cindy, all of West Plains; one sister, Donnie Holloway and husband, Vernon, West Plains; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one son, Johnny Lee Dancer and one sister, Quada Youngblood, preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.
