Wilma Faye Tom
A memorial service for Wilma Faye Tom, 76, West Plains, Missouri, was held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2012 at Open Door Worship Center.
Mrs. Tom died at 11:55 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012, at West Vue Nursing Center. She was born September 28, 1935, near Willow Springs, Missouri, to Henry Skinner and Zora Mullins Skinner. On December 8, 1953, she was married at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, to Charles Tom. Mrs. Tom was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Tom, of the family home; two children, Kathy Campbell and Chuck Tom, both of West Plains, Missouri; two grandchildren, Christopher Campbell and Lauren Campbell; two brothers, Tom Skinner, and wife, Marie, Gamaliel, Arkansas and Bob Skinner and wife, Beth, Pomona, Missouri; three sisters, Rosemary Holloway and husband, Les, West Plains, Missouri, Delora Johnson, Birch Tree, Missouri and Helen Blair, Lake Elsinore, California; one sister-in-law, Peggy Skinner, West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, one brother, Henry “Bud” Skinner and two sisters, Frances Carter and Edith Rainey, precede her in death.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at West Vue Nursing Center.
