Ricky Dale Henry
Funeral services for Ricky Dale Henry, 54, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2023, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Ricky passed away at 6:10 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born November 5, 1968, at West Plains, Missouri, to Raymond LeRoy Henry and Malinda Sue Miller Henry. Ricky was a kind, loving and caring young man; very thoughtful of others. He helped his father for several years in the family business of laying carpet. He was always so kind to animals. He had a special bond with his cousin, Nathan, who was always so good and kind to him. His love for his mom, dad, sisters, nephew and niece ran deeply in his heart. When his niece and nephew, Dylan and Delani visited him in the nursing home his face was filled with joy. In the last several years Ricky longed for Heaven and he certainly wasn’t shy about making this known, repeatedly. He will be greatly missed, but we rejoice that Ricky’s Heavenly body knows no restrictions or bonds as was here on earth. Our hearts smile as we picture him with his brother, sister, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Ricky we say, see you at the Gate Ricky Dale!
He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Sue Henry; one sister, Sherry Collins, and husband, Larry; one niece, Delani; one nephew, Dylan; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins who loved him dearly. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to his caregiver, Cindy Wolf, who went above and beyond in her care giving!
His brother, Harvey Henry, his sister, Shawna and grandparents, Glen and May Henry and Harry and Bertha Miller, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bennett Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family or Bennett Chapel Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.
