Billie Jean Temple
Graveside services for Billie Jean Temple, 70, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Anson, Texas, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Temple died at 3:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at her home. She was born March 9, 1941, at Marthasville, Missouri, to William and Opal Sanders Browning. On April 20, 1968, she was married to Jerry Temple, who preceded her in death on February 27, 1972. Before her retirement in 1993, she had worked outside of the home, including the International Shoe Factory, and was a member of the local VFW Auxiliary. Mrs. Temple was a member of the First Baptist Church, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.
She is survived by four children, Jacklyn Day, West Plains, Missouri, Marvin Temple, wife, Melody, Nixa, Missouri, Leslie Temple, wife, Casey, Springfield, Missouri and Bill Temple, wife, Angie, West Plains, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Billy Lee, Robert Malcom, Tara Ashley, Amanda Brooke, Skye, Mason, Kayla, Keely, Kelsy and Shandra; six great-grandchildren, Logan, Isabell, Salana, Savannah, Malcom Jr. and Jackson; two brothers, William Browning, Jr. and Arthur Browning; four sisters, Kathy Judd, Susan Voellner, Wanda Murphy and Barbara Bowser; two sisters-in-law, Carol Browning and Marie Fagan; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
