Lois J. Shelton
Graveside services for Lois Jean Shelton, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Dripping Springs Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shelton died 2:45 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at the West Vue Nursing Center. She was born June 16, 1927 at Batesville, Arkansas to Richard McAfee and Goldie Lee Plamer Wilson. She received her education in the schools of Batesville, Arkansas and on August 25, 1947, was married at West Plains, Misosuri to Fred Oscar Shelton who preceded her in death on January 21, 1998. Lois was the care giver for all of her family
She is survived by one son, Clifford Nokes, of the family home; two nieces, Mary Collins, West Plains, Missouri and Glenda Collins, Batesville, Arkansas; two nephews, Buster Collins, Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Darrell Collins, Newark, Arkansas; and a host of family and friends.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, Richard Wilson and Sammy Wilson and two sisters, Rachel Collins and Mary Dee Town, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 3rd, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dripping Springs Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
