James Hosea (Jim) Johnson

Funeral services for James Hosea (Jim) Johnson, 71, Willow Springs and formerly of Peace Valley, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson died 5:42 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains.  He was born March 20, 1941 in Howell County, Missouri to Clifford and Alameda Kimbrough Johnson.  On August 1, 1970, he was married at West Plains, Missouri to Carolyn Sue Provow who preceded him in death on May 25, 1997.  Before his retirement, Mr. Johnson was employed by the West Plains Coca Cola Bottling and Doss and Harper Stone Company. He was a member of the Pilgrim’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church.

He is survived by two children, Lorie Goodwin and husband, Kevin, Caulfield, Missouri and Mike Johnson and Rebecca, Clarksville, Arkansas; three grandchildren; Courtney, Jessica and Krevin Goodwin; three great-grandchildren, Sadie, Kylea and Brock Davidson; two sisters, Brenda Merrit and husband, Bob, State of Minnesota and Wanda Schafer, Arnold, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, wife, one brother and one sister, precede him in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 4th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery
