Mary/Mark and Frazier Families, Robert/Beverly and Bennett Families, & Wilma,

Our Deepest Sympathy to each of you on the passing of Herman. We have wonderful memories of Herman from having lived all those years on Monks Street and knowing the kind, caring individual he was to all his family and friends alike. We loved the conversations in person or on the phone and the visits with him too. He will be greatly missed! During this difficult time we will be keeping all of you in our daily prayers and thoughts. May God provide each of you peace, comfort, strength, and encouragement daily. May God bless each one of you.
    In Christian Love,
    Norris & Ivene Cozort

I first met Herman on a cold snowy February 5th of 1985. I was in an accident and my truck was turned over. Jackie sent Herman with the wrecker and he worked extra hard to not do any more damage to it. When we finally got back to the station and went in Herman’s glasses were froze and the heat cracked the frames. I didn’t know it at the time but Sheldon Beverage told me later and I went in and gave Herman the money to get him some new glasses. Herman was a good man. An honest man. I always had much respect for him. I’ll never forget that day and the memory is made special because of Herman. God bless and watch over you.
