I have such fond memories of your sweet family and especially your dad. ‘Kind spirit’ is a wonderful way to describe him. He truley was kind and had a special talent for being a ‘people -person’. I loved stopping by Hammonds station and finding Wayne sitting at the table with friends. He will be missed by our family and I’m sure by the whole community.
My sincerest condolences to each of you.

I have known Wayne and Naomi all my life as my aunt was Wayne’s sister, Agnes Rogers. Naomi’s family lived across the road from us when I was a little girl at Caulfield, Mo. Always thought so much of them. I have missed Naomi and now Wayne. They were great role models. David had many years of fishing stories to tell about Wayne and always enjoyed him. Sympathy to David and Gloria and the rest of the family.

Having Wayne as a neighbor was such a blessing. He was always so kind to buy lemonade from our granddaughter, Haylie, when she would set up shop across the street. Wayne always worked with a smile on his face.
We know where he is and we know who he’s with. I bet there is fishing in heaven as well. Fondly, Abby and Jim Lofgren
