I am so sorry that “Pops” has passed on but glad for him that he’s reached his final destination. I spent many nights with the Redburns from early childhood and being friends with Carla. There was always lots of laughter and I grew to love him as he and my dad were great buddies. They were a fix it crew of two. I am too far away to attend services, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers with special love for Carla and Verdeana and their children because they needed him in their lives as a constant father figure. I love you all so much! As I finish the book of “Pops Redburn” and put the final copy on the shelves of my mind I know I can return there to my precious memories of all the good times we had.

To the family of Carl Redburn,
I just learned of Carl’s illness and passing. My thoughts are with your family during this time of loss. I worked with Carl when he worked at the Parks Department. He was a good person and very helpful to me during that time. He was a good example for many young people and I will remember his kindness, and the strong work ethic that he shared with the youth that we worked together to serve. God be with you and give you all comfort.
