Fern Irene Easley
Funeral services for Fern Irene Easley, 90, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2012, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Easley died at 4:05 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012, at West Vue Nursing Center. She was born January 20, 1922, at South Fork, Missouri, to William “Bill” and Chloe Carroll Callahan. On August 22, 1946, she was married at Mountain Home, Arkansas to Hubert Edmond Easley, who preceded her in death on April 16, 2009. She and Hubert loved to travel. Mrs. Easley loved to cook and babysit for her grandchildren and others. She enjoyed ceramics, was a seamstress and was known for her sweet smile. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and had volunteered at the local Veterans clinic. Mrs. Easley was a Member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Pat Ford and Barbara Peterson, husband, Danny, all of West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren, Derrick Blackburn, wife, Seree, Angie Garner, husband, Jimmy, and Jason Peterson, wife, Rachel; six great-grandchildren, Kayla Kelley, Emily Wood, Brady Peterson, Ashton Garner, Ethan Garner and Lawson Peterson; one great-great-grandchild, Jadon Kelley; several nieces and nephews; and caretakers and special friends, Gloria Wall, Rhonda Blevins and Chris Brewer.
Her husband, parents, and three brothers, Willard, Paul and Gordon Callahan, precede her in death.
Mrs. Easley will lie in state from 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012, until service time at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to V.F.W. or Gideon’s Bible Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Pat and Barbara,
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I have wonderful memories of your mother. I remember going to her house with Mother for “club”. I hope your memories will help you cope with your loss.
