Warren McKee
Funeral services for Warren McKee, 93, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at First Missionary Baptist Church, Pottersville, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. McKee died at 10:32 a.m., Friday, November 29, 2013, at his home.
He was born August 9, 1920, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Elia Arthur “E.A.” McKee and Georgeana Carrico McKee. On February 14, 1942, he was married at Howell County, Missouri, to Naomi Billie Exline, who preceded him in death on January 4, 2005. Mr. McKee was a veteran having served in the United States Army. He was a Private First Class; attended basic training at Fort Warren, Wyoming and was a special aviation mechanic at Fort Lewis, Washington. He worked in the timber business, was a farmer and was the owner of McKee Log Homes. He loved his mules and enjoyed going to bull riding events. Mr. McKee was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Pottersville.
He is survived by three children, Barbara Butler, West Plains, Missouri, Sandra Riley, Dora, Missouri and Johnny McKee, wife, Kati, Pottersville, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Sonya McDonald, Veronica Copeland, husband, Ted, Valerie Butler, David Riley, Jessica Parker, Daniel Riley, Melissa Dalton, husband, Aaron, Trista Hall, husband Byron, Kameron Carmichael, McKenzie Steele and Olivia Powers; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Clifton Luna and Dick Dupree.
His parents, wife, four brothers, one sister, two son-in-laws, Chadd Butler and Gary Riley and two great-grandchildren, precede him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pottersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Pottersville Cemetery, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
