Joy Lynn Spencer
A Celebration of Life service for Joy Lynn Spencer, 54, Caulfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Mineral Point Church, Caulfield, Missouri.
Mrs. Spencer died at 2:40 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013, near Elijah, Missouri.
She was born October 23, 1959, at Pekin, Illinois, to Donald Oates and Janice Enus Oates. On July 7, 1980, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to William Boyd Spencer. Mrs. Spencer was a homemaker and loved her family. She was also a cattle farmer and enjoyed all aspects of the family farm. Mrs. Spencer was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her husband, Boyd Spencer, of the family home; two children, Michael Spencer, wife, Leigh Ann and Tommy Spencer, wife, Holly, all of Caulfield, Missouri; six grandchildren, Cameron, Logan, Ashton, Lucas, Noah and Jax; one brother, Jay Oates, wife, Cathy, Pekin, Illinois; one niece, Kristan Oates; her mother-in-law, Donna Spencer; and a host of other family and friends.
Her parents precede her in death.
Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

This is Joy’s brother Dan I’m truly sorry about my sisters passing we kinda grew apart in the last few years and am sad that we lost touch. Even so she will be missed by my family and myself, and I can honestly say she was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I am saddened by her passing and want her family Boyd, Mike, and Tommy if theres anything they need or I can do I’m just a phone call away. So long sis you will never be forgotten.
