Paul Edward Smith
A Memorial service for Paul Edward Smith, West Plains, will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Paul, the son of the late Raymond and Ina Faye Womack Smith, was born September 22, 1940, in Ozark County, Missouri. He entered into rest December 7, 2013, at the age of 73 years. On July 28, 1962, he was married at West Plains, Mo., to Sarah Ann Mauldin. Mr. Smith was a carpenter, farmer, logger and a part-owner of the Smith Brothers Sawmill.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann Mauldin Smith, West Plains; three sons, Dennis E. Smith and wife, Francine, Michael R. Smith and Jeffery L. Smith and special friend, Pamela Blessinger; and a daughter, Sandra D. Smith and fiancé, Craig Kelly, all of West Plains; nine grandchildren, Amanda Moffis and husband, Pat, Clayton Smith and fiancée Hope Harris, Dustin Smith, Gage Smith, Emily Smith, Jacob Alexander, Amber Alexander, Valecity Inlow; six great-grandchildren, Madison, Montana and Payton Moffis, Mia and Robert Alexander and Hayden; four brothers, Ronald Smith and wife, Sue, Bill Smith and wife, Sherry, Roger Smith and special friend Stella, and Tommy Smith and wife, Crystal; three sisters, Larae Green, Janis Adams and husband, Roger, and Judy Davis and husband, Jim Ed; sister-in-law, Faye Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents; two brothers, Homer Lee Smith and Danny Ross Smith; mother and father-in-law, Lloyd and Martha Mauldin; one brother-in-law, George Green; one niece; and one nephew preceded him in death.
As of December 7, 2013, Paul willfully donated his body to The Genesis Medical Institute for further studies of the medical sciences. Paul’s family would like to welcome all to join the memorial services later in the year at Memphis, Tennessee.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
