George Louis Harvey, Sr.

Funeral services for George Louis Harvey, Sr., 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.   Mr. Harvey died at 2:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at his home.  He was born June 19, 1925, at St. Louis, Missouri, to Raymond Edward Harvey and Mildred Aleair Harvey.  On December 22, 1948, he was married at St. Louis, Missouri, to Pauline Alice Hebsacker, who preceded him in death on November 30, 2011.  Mr. Harvey was a veteran having served with the United States Army and the United States Air Force.  He was a farmer and had worked as a factory machinist.  Mr. Harvey was a member of the American Legion.  He loved farming and his animals.  Mr. Harvey was of the Lutheran faith.

He is survived by four children, George L. Harvey, Jr. and wife, Linda, Salem, Missouri, Mildred Gulley and husband, Charles, Bedford, Indiana, Carol Crabtree and husband, James, Doe Run, Missouri and Donna Gulley and husband, Earl, Caulfield, Missouri; twenty grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren.

His parents, wife, one son, Dennis Michael Harvey, three granddaughters and one brother, William Harvey, precede him in death.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until service time on Monday, March 12, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
