Leslie Wayne Wilson
Graveside services for Leslie Wayne Wilson, 73, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Homeland Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson died at 4:16 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2014, at NHC Healthcare.
He was born February 13, 1941, at West Plains, Missouri, to Oliver Leslie “Les” Wilson and Mabel L. Holbrook Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. In 1962 he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Nora Presley. Mr. Wilson worked at West Plains Civic Center, being one of the first employees. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and operating road graders. Mr. Wilson was a Christian and had attended Faith Assembly of God Church and Spring Creek Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Wilson, of the family home; two children, Margie Rogers, husband, Ronald and Josie Hines, husband, James, all of West Plains, Missouri; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his mother, Mabel Wilson, West Plains, Missouri; and one aunt, Lois Dodds, West Plains, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his father.

I will never forget the smile that seemed to be always on Wayne’s face. He was a dear friend and will be sorely missed by many. Love you guys and we are keeping you in our prayers.
