When I heard the news, a lot of good memories came flooding back to me. I met Steve in the fall of 1987 when we were freshmen at Rockhurst College. He was so nice and friendly and our friendship continued for years after college. Like all graduates, life goes on but I still cherish those memories that Steve and I shared. I am driving down to West Plains this weekend so attend the church services at St. Joseph Church. I will continue to tell people Steve was/is such a wonderful guy and the joy he brought to many of us will live. My condolences to his family.
