We love both of you; Jean is not with us right now, but in spirit, she is. What a girl! She laughed, cried and enjoyed every moment of the day. Beth admired Jean’s way with flowers, and wished that she could do the same; didn’t happen!
We were looking forward to a trip to Scotland next fall; she would have loved to see the ‘misty mountains’ again. She was proud of her McIntosh heritage and often spoke of her Scottish family who were very talented artists and builders.
Ah, Jean, th’ flowers of th’ forest will grow wi’ yer lovin’ care. We’ll miss ye, lass.

We met Jean about 20 years ago and it was love at first sight. She has been a wonderful partner and spouse of Jim’s, faithfully supporting JIim through his tough years in the Service and beyond. Jean will be missed by all in the communities in whuch she lived and by everyone who knew her. Jean is a new star in the Heaven.

We have known Jean for many years and though we didn’t see her often, we felt like we knew her well. She had a way of making you smile when she walked into a room. She was always friendly and happy and we will miss her terribly.

We were Blessed to be Friends of Jean and Jim since 1956. We touched base many places while our husbands were in the service. We were so happy when they moved to West Plains. we saw them more often. Jean was the most loving and down to earth person you would ever have the honor of knowing. Rest in peace my Dear friend. you will be missed so very much.
