Carroll “Buzz” Lawson

Graveside services for Carroll “Buzz” Lawson, 71, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Lawson passed away at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his home.

He was born June 2, 1934, at Dexter, Missouri, to Carroll W. Lawson and Ruth Etta Campbell Lawson Ingleton.  He enjoyed hunting, logging and chain saw competitions.  Mr. Lawson was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by three children, Sandra Henry, husband, Jeff, West Plains, Missouri, Ruthie Sturgill, husband, Kevin, Zona Rosa, Missouri and James Lawson, wife, Marsha, Cassville, Missouri; three brothers, Gary W. Lawson, wife, Mary, Mike Butts and Steven Butts; two sisters, Janet Johnson, husband, Donnie and Debbie Thompson, husband, James; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

His parents, two brothers, Gene and Richard Lawson and two sisters, Judy Darnell and Linda Sue Lawson, precede him in death.
