Fondly I recall the first time I met Betty; in West Plains at Aunt Eliza’s (we pronounced it Ly-Zee)! I had brought our newborn Charli to meet her great-great Aunt. Later Charli & Kara met through mutual friends at church camp in Pomona; both as members of a Christian Church! Fun for them to find new cousins the same age. It was a happy thing to find some of Pop’s (Charlie Steed’s) limited family, and to have Charli (Eliza’s great-great niece) and Kara (Eliza’s great-great granddaughter) become acquaintances. I so enjoyed getting to visit with Betty; she was such a joy to get to know. Although it has been a while since we spent time in Pomona, I will always enjoy that we “connected”. Betty indeed will be missed by more than you know. Cousins, Butch, Donna, Charli & Jacob Steed
