Mary Lou Coffman Miller

Graveside services for Mary Lou Coffman Miller, 90, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Miller passed away at 10:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017 at NHC Health Care.

She was born May 8, 1926 at Mountain Grove, Missouri to Thomas Holt and Leona Simmons Holt.  On October 5, 1946, she was married to Wayne Coffman who preceded her in death on January 1, 1996.  On October 20, 2000, she was married at West Plains, Missouri to Russell Miller who preceded her in death on December 9, 2002.  Before her retirement, Mrs. Miller had been employed with the telephone company.  For many years, she had been a volunteer at Ozarks Medical Center and the OMC Thrift Store.  She enjoyed bingo and playing chicken foot; her greatest joy was her family and grandkids.  Mrs. Miller was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Plains since 1960.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Coffman, wife, Pam, West Plains, Missouri and Jerry Coffman, wife, Debbie, Eloy, Arizona; three step-children, Dr. William C. “Bill” Miller, wife, Mary Beth, Farmington, Missouri, Richard A. Miller, Springfield, Missouri and George E. Miller, wife, Brenda, West Plains, Missouri; four grandchildren; Lacey Galvan, husband, Joshua, Lance Coffman, wife, Kristina, Jamie Wade, husband, Shannon and Joni Henderson, husband, Mike; one great-granddaughter, Brette Henderson; five step-grandchildren, Amanda Holmes, husband, Eric, Tyler Honeycutt, Nate Miller, wife, Ashley, Andy Miller, wife, Allison and Christopher Miller; numerous step-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Retha Holt, Springfield, Missouri and Katherine Coffman, Mountain Grove, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husbands, four brothers, Thomas, Bernard, Leonard and Gene, three sisters, Lucille, Helen and Louise, and one step-granddaughter, Mindy Hughston, precede her in death.

Mrs. Miller will lie in state from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Monday and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Tuesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the OMC Foundation or The Gideon’s Bible Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
