Kenneth Ward
Graveside services for Kenneth Loyd Ward, 68, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Ward passed away at 2:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his home.
He was born August 27, 1948, at Koshkonong, Missouri, to Loyd Ward and Wanda Howell Ward. He was married November 29, 1986, at Thayer, Missouri, to Sharan Lung. Mr. Ward worked as a carpet layer for Butler Carpet Company for over twenty years and was also a farmer. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed watching baseball, especially St. Louis Cardinals. Mr. Ward also enjoyed playing pool at the West Plains Senior Center where he had won many tournaments.
He is survived by his wife, Sharan Ward, of the family home; two children, Debbie Brazeal and husband, Darin, Forsythe, Missouri and Kambra Smith and husband, Keith, St. Charles, Missouri; two granddaughters, Ashley Harms and husband, Tim and Kortney Broeker and husband, Jarod; one grandson, Austin Metcalf; one great-granddaughter, Everly Broeker; his mother, Wanda Ward Herbolsheimer, Springfield, Missouri; one brother, Johnny Floyd Ward and wife, Janie, Koshkonong, Missouri; one sister, Della Acklin and husband, Scott, Ozark, Missouri; two step-sisters, Diana Davis and husband, Bud, Clearwater, Florida and Sherry Johnson, Brandsville, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
His father, Loyd Ward, step-father, Herb Herbolsheimer and one step-brother, Chris Herbolsheimer, precede him in death.
Mr. Ward will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Plains Senior Center for Pool Hall and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Dear Sharon,
We are so sorry to hear about Kenny. I knew him along time,we worked together at
Butler’s. I was the new kid so he liked making it difficult on me, haha .
I knew he was in a lot of pain and It was so hard on you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sorry to hear about Kenny. We were out of town and just heard about it. I’ve known Kenny for several years and enjoyed playing pool with him at the pool hall. He will be missed.
