Thomas Ray Lamb
Graveside services for Thomas Ray Lamb, 66, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Howell Valley Cemetery.
Mr. Lamb passed away at 8:06 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at NHC Healthcare.
He was born March 9, 1951, at Watervliet, Michigan, to Francis Rue Lamb and Frances Laura Harper Lamb. Mr. Lamb was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. He was in the 5th mechanized artillery united operation Lam Son 719 in Vietnam, Big Red 1 at Fort Riley, Kansas, 3rd Armored Division in Germany and served as MP with 1138th MP Co. He enjoyed Ham Radio; his call sign W0TRL. Mr. Lamb worked for Brotherton Propane for over thirty years. He was married to Susie Olson in 1972 and to this marriage, two children were born, Derrick and Christopher. He was married on April 5, 1990, at West Plains, to Brenda Lou Howell, who preceded him in death on February 1, 2004.
He is survived by two children, Derrick Lamb and wife, Janette and Christopher Lamb; five grandchildren, Erika, Micah, Emily, Kayla and Sarah Lamb; seven sisters, Virginia Morrison and husband, Junior, Betty McCarley and husband, Mike, Carol Price and husband, Larry, Mary Lavern Collins, Fran Collins, Ruby Roberts and husband, Ron, Vicky Lovan and husband, Brant; four brothers, Woody Lamb and wife, Tammy, John Lamb and wife, Angie, James Huckaby and Mike Huckaby; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, step-mother, Mary Cockrum Lamb, wife and one sister, Connie Elfrank, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Fallen Heroes and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Known Tommy for 50 years and had a great friend he always help people who needed help and will be missed thanks Tommy for all the fun we had Bob Cobb. Tommy will be missed by all his close friends and his kids we all knew well.
