Delene Betty Bales
Funeral services for Delene Betty Bales, 71, Springfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bales passed away at 4:45 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home.
She was born February 26, 1946, at Bakersfield, Missouri, to Charlie Bales and Opal Lane Bales. Mrs. Bales retired July 1, 2005, after working for thirty-eight years at Baxter Lab. She loved cooking meals for her family, baking pies, quilting and traveling; she enjoyed taking care of others. Mrs. Bales was a member of New Growth Ministries, Springfield, Missouri.
She is survived by three daughters, Alonna Hall and husband, German Carvajal, Springfield, Missouri, Kimberly Horton, Springfield, Missouri and Trish Patterson, Ash Flat, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Dustin Tucker, Ashlie Barrymoore, Amanda Tucker, Bree Hall, Collin Hall; Lyssa Drummond and Corwin Drummond; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dwayne Bales and Pat Bales, both of Bakersfield, Missouri.
Her parents and one sister preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at New Growth Ministries, 1351 N. Marion Ave., Springfield, Missouri and from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elijah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Elijah Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Betty was so loving but also had a great sense of humor and I loved visiting with her. Dustin, Allona, Kim, and Trish I am so very sorry for your loss. I will most def. be praying for you all. I consider myself lucky to have known Betty and will always remember her smile and kind words. Love you all. Tammy

Condolences from the Lane family on your loss. I remember Betty as a smart,kind and good person.
We had so much fun when we were at her moms house with her,Dwayne and Pat.
