Harvey Dale Henson
Visitation service for Harvey Dale Henson, 75, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Henson passed away at 11:10 a.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at NHC Healthcare.
He was born September 27, 1942, at Gideon, Missouri, to James Americus Henson and Zona Mae Patterson Henson. On December 7, 1964, he was married at Jerome, Idaho, to Penny McDonald, who preceded him in death on November 24, 1997. Harvey was a trader and had been a security guard in California. He enjoyed going to auctions and trading animals.
He is survived by two children, Pam Henson and Jim Henson and wife, Jody, West Plains, Missouri; two grandchildren, Coty Henson and wife, Missy and Dalton Henson and wife, Carlena; four great-grandchildren, Mason, Makenna, Camden and Waylon; three brothers, James Ray Henson and wife, Elaine, State of Idaho, David Henson and wife, Karen, State of California and Mark Henson, State of Florida; one sister, Reba Verleen McNeal, State of Florida; one half-sister, Janis Pierce, state of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, one infant brother, two sisters, Wanda Hall and Norma Wingo, nephew, Justin Henson and great-nephew, Seth Stinnett, preceded him in death.
A private burial will be held at a later date at Homeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Lance and I are so sorry for you loss. Harvey was a ornery but special man!! He loved to tease me and I always tried to give it back the same. You and your brother and family are in are prayers!

Your Dad was a great guy. I have lots of memories visiting with him. I was also proud to be part of his care team. May your memories comfort you.
