Quentin Allen Tackitt

Graveside services for Quentin Allen Tackitt, 56, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2017 at Elijah Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Tackitt passed away at 8:25 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born July 22, 1961, at West Plains, Missouri, to Marvin Mearl Tackitt and Bonnie Joan Hensley.  Mr. Tackitt was a veteran of the United States Army where he trained as a medic and had been employed as a roofer.

He is survived by four children, Jessica Tackitt, West Plains, Missouri, Michelle Brown and husband, Korey, Austin Texas, Amanda Follis, West Plains, Missouri and Terry Mapes; two grandchildren, Allison and Alexis; his mother, Bonnie Tackitt, Caulfield, Missouri; one brother, Ronnie Tackitt, Caulfield, Missouri; two sisters, Vicky Baumgart and husband, Greg, Springfield,  Missouri and Misty Tackitt, West Plains, Missouri; the mother of  his children, Stephanie Cormaci; his best friend, Paula McGuff; and six nieces and nephews.

His father and two brothers, Monte Tackitt and Vernon Marvin “Bubba” Tackitt, preceded him in death.
