Euna Mae Kimbrough
Graveside services for Euna Mae Kimbrough, 90, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 7, 2018 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kimbrough passed away at 10:26 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2018 at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born January 5, 1928, in Ozark County, Missouri, to Landa Allcorn and Dicie A. Sanders Allcorn. On October 22, 1951, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Leamon Jewell Kimbrough, who preceded her in death on March 23, 2010. Mrs. Kimbrough had worked as a beauty operator. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing. Mrs. Kimbrough was a member of the First Church of God and was very involved in the church.
She is survived by two children, Dewayne Kimbrough and Debbie Harper, both of West Plains; four grandchildren, Joshua Harper and wife, Paige, Jennifer Cromer and husband, Matthew, Christopher Kimbrough and Cassandra Kimbrough; and five great-grandchildren, Brady Cromer, Thomas Harper, Riley Cromer, William “Bill” Harper and Nolan Cromer.
Her parents, husband and two brothers, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kimbrough will lie in state from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Your Mom was such a sweet lady – I first met her at First Chuch of God – wish I could have spent more time and gotten to know her better. She seemed to have such a spunk for life!

Aunt Euna Mae always cooked us a very fine breakfast on Saturday mornings before dad and I would go quail hunting with Leamon and Dewayne. Man could she put it on ya! I will always remember the times we were at their house in the summer time and we would have homemade ice cream from the cream that came from their own milk tank as she and Leamon had a dairy operation. She was as hard a working woman as I ever knew. Proud that she was my aunt

Those was the fun days when we had Quail. Mom always made us two breakfasts. One before we went to milk the cows and one after we returned. Obviously we were spoiled and glad i had to work in order to get those calories off.

Euna Mae has always been family. Whenever I think of my childhood or any memories from church, she’s always part of what I remember. I’ve missed seeing her the past few years, and I’m grateful I had the opportunity to visit her around Christmas. She is missed! Not sure that I’ll be able to make it down, but wanted you all to know I’m praying for you, and I’m so very sorry that she’s gone.

I loved Mrs. Euna Mae VERY MUCH! It was always such a joy going over to visit with her and Mr. Leamon. My best memories of Mrs. Euna Mae are in the kitchen. She was always in there cooking up something! She loved visiting with the babies and showing me all her pictures of the family. She has a story for every one of them! I would go over to help her vacuum the floors and have to vacuum around Mr. Leamon’s chair and he would look at me and lift his long legs way up in his chair to “move out of the way” for me and she and I would just laugh at him! She will be dearly missed!

Euna Mae was a neighbor to our Mom at West Vue. We always enjoyed visiting with her when we would go to visit our Mom. We loved to listen to her unique voice. She was very sweet and we’ll miss her smiling face when we go to West Vue.
