Albert Lee Adkison
Funeral services for Albert Lee Adkison, 87, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Adkison passed away at 12:05 a.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at NHC Healthcare.
He was born October 6, 1929, at Yale, Oklahoma, to Claude Benjamin Adkison and Sophie Etah Frost Adkison. On March 10, 1953, he was married at Della Plane, Arkansas, to Eufa Marie Eubanks. Mr. Adkison was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Korean conflict. Before his retirement, he worked as a diesel mechanic at Earl’s International; he enjoyed fishing and watching television.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Eufa Adkison; five children, Janet Pate and husband, Rick, Salem, Arkansas, Danny Adkison and wife, Nellie, West Plains, Catherine Asmus and husband, James, West Plains, Amber Sell, West Plains and Frances Russell and husband, Larry, Moody, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, one brother and two sisters, precede him in death.
Mr. Adkison will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Fork Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
