Anna Mary Barton
Funeral services for Anna Mary Barton, 96, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barton passed away at 11:51 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born April 22, 1921, at Hoisington, Kansas, to Joel Farris Ford and Winnifred Houdek Ford. On November 12, 1937, she was married at Alton, Missouri, to Ralph Franklin Barton, who preceded her in death on May 31, 1984. Before her retirement, Mrs. Barton worked as a seamstress at Angelica Fabrication in Mountain View, Missouri. She enjoyed puzzle books and collecting coffee cups. Mrs. Barton was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three children, Naomi Ballou, West Plains, Missouri, Randall Barton and wife, Marilyn, Peace Valley, Missouri and Ralph Barton, Moko, Arkansas; two daughters-in-law, Bertha Barton and Barbara Barton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, David Ford, Peace Valley, Missouri; three sisters, Olive Bales, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Delora Vest, Alton, Missouri and Martha Warren, Alton, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, two infant children, two sons, Franklin and Billy Barton, one daughter, Winnie Rose Hankins, two brothers, Lawrence and Chris Ford and one sister, Frances Ford, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
