I’m so sorry to just have heard that Annalee passed away. Such a great lady! I spent many days making mud pies between Ellison hardware (now the bank) and Duncan Bess Store. She was so kind & patient as Eddie & I tracked in & out playing. She owned the first dress form mannequin I had ever seen. I listened many times as people needed sewing jobs done but didn’t have money. She’d laugh & tell them we’ll square up some day or trade it out. Her cakes were so creative, beautiful & tasty. Many times my daughter wouldn’t eat part of the cake because it was too pretty. We have had unicorn & bear cake heads saved way too long! Her kind heart & great laughter will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. My thoughts & prayers will be with during this very difficult time.

On behalf of our family, we would like to sincerely thank everyone, for their friendship prayers, encouraging words, and memories of our mother. Mom never met a stranger, and was willing to help anyone in need. If we can follow in her foot steps, someday we’ll be a wonderful person also. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten, she lives on in our hearts. Thank you all.

So sorry for your loss. My wife and I visted Anna Lee several times. I’m one of the Las Vegas cousins. We always talked about family history and shared photos. We always looked forward to her annual Christmas letter. Her memory is safe in our hearts and the Missouri hills.
