Barbara Jean Palmer
Funeral services for Barbara Jean Palmer, 78, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Palmer passed away at 8:37 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her home.
She was born December 4, 1939, at Chicago, Illinois, to Kenneth Casper Faust and Marion Rosenquist Faust. On June 2, 1956, she was married at Wilmington, Illinois, to Herbert “Pedro” Palmer. Mrs. Palmer was an exceptional homemaker and mother; she enjoyed quilting, loved farming, taking care of others and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Palmer was a member of Shilo Baptist Church, Rover, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Herbert “Pedro” Palmer; six children, Fred Palmer and wife, Suzanne, Herb Palmer, Danny Palmer and wife, Lisa, Jessie Palmer and wife, Bobbi, all of Rover, Missouri, Anthony “Tige” Palmer and wife, Melissa and Loretta Palmer and fiancée Patric Roberts, all of West Plains; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Kenneth, Nicholas, Warren and Jim; seven sisters, Pat, Beth, Judy, Lynne, Bunny, Ellen and Linda; one sister-in-law, Nellie Whirrell; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, one brother, Chuck, one grandson, Greg and one granddaughter, Jacqueline, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Huddleston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Barbara was a wonderful person and friend I admired what a strong person she was she would help anyone who ask,barb was quiet,smart ,and funny in her own way,she never had a bad remark to say against anyone,I’m sure there’s a special place for barb in haven, she will be missed love charlotte
