Ben L. Huddleston
Funeral services for Ben L. Huddleston, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Huddleston passed away at 5:00 a.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Shady Oaks Healthcare, Thayer, Missouri.
He was born October 29, 1931, at Cull, Missouri, to Newell Huddleston and Gertrude Heard Hudleston. On September 15, 1950, he was married at Buckner, Missouri, to Mildred Geneva Welker, who preceded him in death on March 14, 2011. Mr. Huddleston was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the occupation of Japan. He joined the military at age 15 and was a member of Veterans of Underage Military Service and America’s Young Warriors. He received accommodations for Parachute and Glider; he was also a Central office technician, switchboard operator, Keio School Command. Mr. Huddleston was a retired teamster and trucker. He served the Lord and was a pastor in many churches across Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska.
He is survived by four grandchildren, Sherry Deier, Raytown, Missouri, Melissa Dallegos and husband, Daniel, St. Louis, Missouri, Michelle Huddleston, Mosco Mills, Missouri and April Richardson and husband, Michael, Silver City, New Mexico; eleven great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
His parents, wife and two sons, Paul and David Huddleston, preceded him in death.
Burial will be in the Elk Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Elk Creek Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

So sorry for your loss. He was a pleasure to be around and we always enjoyed their visits to Tn. He and Aunt Mildred loved all their grandchildren very much. Sending love from your Meek cousins in Tn.
