Bernice Murlene Roberts
Funeral services for Bernice Murlene Roberts, 87, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Union Grove Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Roberts died at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, March 3, 2013, at her home.
She was born December 19, 1925, in Howell County, Missouri, to Carl Willis Riley and Lalla Bertie Hudlow Riley. On November 22, 1946, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to O. L. Roberts, Jr., who preceded her in death on January 11, 1993. Mrs. Roberts was a long time member of Union Grove Church.
She is survived by three children, James Roberts, Pottersville, Missouri, Mary Roberts, Mountain Home, Arkansas and Patty Roberts, Mountain Home, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Christopher Roberts, wife, Debbie, Michael Roberts, special friend, Tarin Collins and Patrick Roberts, special friend, Loretta Lopez; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, sister, Virginia Fox and brother, Joseph Riley, precede her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideon Bible Society or Alzheimer’s Association, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
