Betty Laverne Moss Walker
Funeral services for Betty Laverne Moss Walker, 75, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker went to be with the Angels at 7:29 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2014 at her home. She was born November 8, 1938 at Elijah, Missouri to Joseph Ray Moss and Dorothy Willa Collins Moss. She attended the Oak Mound School and the Bakersfield High School and on March 30, 1956, was married at Pottersville, Missouri to Gene Harl Walker by Reverend Neal Reich of Pottersville. Mrs. Walker attended Davis Creek Church for fifty-one years, serving as Sunday School Superintendent and teacher, song leader, secretary, and any other position where she was needed. Her greatest desire would be to see each and every one of you in Heaven one day.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Walker, of the family home; three daughters, Teresa Pruiett, West Plains, Missouri, Diane Wilbanks, husband, Jerry, Ava, Missouri and Karen Nye, husband, Lynn,Danville, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Gwendy Wadkins, husband, Tim, Jessica Bates, husband, Brian, Jason Pruiett, Mandy Sympson, husband, David, Missy Halbert, husband, Jeff, Jennifer Wilbanks, and Krista Carter, husband, Weston; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Faye Judd, husband, Bill; two brothers-in-law, Gary Walker, wife, Mary and Jolly Morgan; and many other relatives and friends.
Her parents, an infant son, Tommy Wayne, and one sister, Beulah Shipley, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Pottersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pottersville Cemetery and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

this was the most kind and loving lady i had every known and she was very prescuse to me and eddie i will miss her deeply but heaven is rejoicing love and prayers jean and family

Betty was a very sweet lady, she will be missed by many family members and friends. God bless the family give them strength and comfort at this very sad time.
