A memorial service for Bobbie Ann McQuitty, 66, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, at Rescue Church.
Mrs. McQuitty passed away at 2:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023, at her home.
She was born August 17, 1956, at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Robert Bell and Anna Mae Thornton Bell. On November 1, 1973, she was married at Sublette, Kansas, to Gerald McQuitty. Bobbie loved her family and enjoyed crafts and her chickens. She loved going to church and being with her church family at Rescue Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald McQuitty; two children, Raleen Closser and Nathan McQuitty and wife, Jolene, all of West Plains; two grandchildren, Brayton McQuitty and Alex Helm; one brother, Bodie Bell and wife, Tannis, Rogers, Arkansas; and two sisters, Sandy Holler, St. Joe, Missouri and Pat Bellard and husband, Al, Church Point, Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.

Bobbie Ann was my dear Cousin. I have happy memories of my time with Gerald and Bobbie Ann in times past. Prayers to the McQuitty family in this window of pain and loss.
