Mr. Coursey peacefully passed away at 4:50 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Cox South, Springfield, Missouri.
He was born December 17, 1959, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Anny Stohr Coursey Wilson and the late Robert Coursey. On October 11, 1979, he was married at Union Hill Church, to Bonnie Phipps and to their union two children were born, Bobby Lee Coursey and Rebecca Coursey Miller. One of Bobby’s favorite sayings by Paul Harvey “And on the 8th day God looked down on his planned paradise and said, I need a caretaker, so God made a farmer”.
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Bonnie Coursey; his son, Bobby Lee Coursey and wife, Carrie; his daughter, Rebecca Coursey Miller and husband, Brian; three grandchildren, Gracie and Joanee Coursey and Zachary Miller; his mother, Anny Coursey Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
His father and two brothers, Jesse and Gary Coursey, preceded him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.
