Bonnie Joyce Hartley

Funeral services for Bonnie Joyce Hartley, 80, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2014, at First Christian Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hartley died at 10:45 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2014, at her home.

She was born September 11, 1933, at Parma, Missouri, to Albert Hartley and Frona Thomas Hartley.  She graduated from Wichita North High School with the Class of 1952 and attended Kansas State Teachers College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Science and English.  She worked in personnel services for the Veterans Administration Hospital, retiring in 1980 after working for twenty-one years.  In 2000 she was married to Stanley Lagaurney, who preceded her in death.  Mrs. Hartley was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and was a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by one aunt and many cousins.

Her parents and husband precede her in death.

Mrs. Hartley will lie in state from Noon Sunday until Noon Monday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, Kansas.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
