Bonnie Louise Hodgson
Graveside services for Bonnie Louise Hodgson, 77, Bakersfield, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Baptist Hill Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hodgson died 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 near her home. She was born May 13,1940 at Bridges Creek in Ozark County, Missouri to Frank Morton Farel and Bessie Leota Dean Farel. On October 27, 1956, she was married at Belvidere, Illinois to Robert E. Lee Hodgson who preceded her in death on August 29, 1999. Mrs. Hodgson was a very independent lady, was an avid reader, her family was an important part of her life and she always put others first. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by four children, Vicki Richardson, husband, Jerry, Bakersfield, Missouri, Daniel Hodgson, Sr. and Robbie Hodgson, Sr., wife, Christy, all of Udall, Missouri and Jim Hodgson, wife, Christina, Bakersfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Norman Farel, wife, Shirley and Charles Farel; two sisters, Ruby Cheek-Robinson and Linda Hendrickson, husband, Jim; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, and one grandson, Bobby J. Richardson, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 15th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Hill Cemetery and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Every family has that one person who is their rock. The one you can always count on to support you no mater what. From the outside looking in, Bonnie seemed to be that person for this family. I know she will be greatly missed.
