Brenda Kay Laxton Polston
A visitation service for Brenda Kay Laxton Polston, 67, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Brenda’s Café, West Plains, Missouri.
Mrs. Polston died Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at her home.
She was born August 17, 1946, at Gainesville, Missouri, to J. R. Laxton and Irene Roberts Laxton. On November 8, 1998, she was married in the State of Colorado, to David Polston. She had owned and operated Brenda’s Café. Mrs. Polston was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, David Polston, of the family home; nine children, Lynette Adams, West Plains, Missouri, Waynette Belcher, husband, Loyal, West Plains, Missouri, Thomas Hensley, wife, Leann, Moody, Missouri, Gala Stout, husband, Jim, West Plains, Missouri, Leah Hensley, Mt. Vernon, Missouri, David Hensley, fiancée Tracey, West Plains, Missouri, Patricia Rowe, Rover, Idaho, David Polston, wife, Cheri, Fairbanks, Alaska and John Polston, Big Lake, Alaska; nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers, Don Laxton, wife, Debra, Caulfield, Missouri and Jim Laxton, wife Donna, State of Oklahoma; and one sister, Connie White, Caulfield, Missouri.
Her parents precede her in death.
A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Elijah Cemetery, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
